From the Principal
Dear Families,
Haven't we shared the most wonderful term! Thank you for your continued support of our school.
This week we welcomed the Diocesan 150 Year Anniversary Message Stick to our school. We gathered as a school to honour our rich history and to look forward to many more years of Catholic Education in our Diocese.
We also had the joy of opening our new classrooms! They are just beautiful. We shared a lovely prayer ceremony and then, as you do on a Monday at 12.30pm, we celebrated with a disco! So much fun!
Have a wonderful holiday, shared with those you love. We look forward to what Term 4 will bring for us!
Terrielynn

You will need to either register or login to begin the process. The competition is under ‘Hamilton Netball Association’, and click on ‘Junior Competition - Term 4’. Please contact me if you need any assistance with this.

Indonesian Performance
We were so fortunate to attend an Indonesian Performance at Monivae on Tuesday. It was the most wonderful show which was greatly enjoyed by students and staff. A big thank you to Vicki Fitzpatrick for organising the event.
Second Hand Book Stall
Thanks so much for the kind donations for our book stall. If your child has purchased a book, I am sure you would agree that they have got great value for their money! All for a wonderful cause too. Well done to Mharni Gordon and the RE Leaders for all their organistion.

Wellbeing
Child Safety
Can you believe that we are at the end of another term? The time certainly does fly when you are having fun! With the holidays upon us, this usually means a bit more free time and often this is online. The eSafety Commisioner has some excellent resources on how to ensure our children are safe online. Below are links to two of their articles.

Cyber Safety Sessions
Next term on Tuesday 15th October, Keleigh Flavel from Victoria Police will conduct Cyber Safety sessions with our 3/4s and 5/6s and also with families at 5.30pm. A Google form has been sent out to gauge parent interest and the link is below. Please complete this form if you would like to attend this very important information session. Thank you to those families who have already replied.
Community Engagement
Busking for Change
The Grade 3/4 department has been participating in the ILF 'Busking For Change' program to raise money for resources for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children who live in remote communities.
At our Assembly last week, we sang our song, Shorty Creek'. Below is a picture and a video from our performance. The Second Hand Book Stall and the gold coin donations from casual clothes day today have also helped with our fundraising.
If you would like to donate to our fundraising efforts, please click on the link below that will take you to our fundraising page. Thank you!
Sustainability - Lids for Kids
Thanks everyone for your support with lid donations! We are collecting lots and lots of lids.
Some sustainability leaders spent some time this week colour sorting lids.
Please remember that lids MUST BE CLEAN AND DRY - NO MILK RESIDUE!
Also, please ensure that all WHITE INSERTS (usually in milk lids) are REMOVED before sending in the lids. Lids can't be sent for recycling with the inserts and it will make sorting much easier if they are removed before sending in. And remember, only number 2 and 4 lids are acceptable for our collection.
Thanks everyone!
