Spiritual Capability: Connecting with the Heart

For Christians, the Bible has stories about God’s love, the life of Jesus and the call to love.

Scripture, Israel and Jesus

  • I can retell some stories about Jesus and God’s love  from the New Testament.
  • I can explain how the stories show God’s love.
  • Bible stories can show Christians how to love others.

God, religion and Society

Christians believe in one God who is named as Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit

  • I can link the sign of the cross with a Christian understanding of God.
  • I can explain why the ritual of the Sign of the Cross is important for Catholic Christians.

 

Christians know they are invited into celebrating this loving relationship with God
